The Steempro 2000
This has to be a favourite of mine. Why? Well whisper quite,
relatively light, easy to work on and with perform well on a dirty pub
or restaurant and Mrs Jones's Lounge and bedroom. We where the
first UK company to take delivery of these from Prochem when they first
arrived in the UK. We had seven of our own for our guys to use and sold
more.
The powermax is the better machine with it's twin 3 stage vacuums and
silencer makes it powerful and pretty quite. You can talk to your client
while you work - no more shouting which makes it good that you can ask
for the extra work while they see the cleaning being performed.
If I had to criticise the machine it is the problem with the casing
that really need to be cleaned regularly. The chemical residue will
stain the casing, so wash it on the outside as well as the inside when
you finish. Don't turn up with a dirty machine that's just not on. If
the casing does get marked, a tip is to use a little fine glass paper
and rub it off. It does work, try it?
The machine main accessories are the inline heater producing nearly
instant hot water for the times when you are on a commercial job and
cant get hot water. The heater is a 2800w clip on that is a nice
addition but at £495.00 RRP and £420.00 + Vat from us, think before you
buy it. It can be bought later and if you are in peoples houses you can
usually get hot water. If you cant get hot water because there's no gas,
be prepared for the client to ask you to stick a tenner on their
electric key as well. Joking aside, the heater is for the seasoned
commercial and residential cleaner. If you are starting up ask for
advice on this issue.
